PINTU 2026 Registration Is Now Open: Calling the Next Generation of Global Fashion Creators!

Highlight

PINTU proudly announces the opening of registration for the 2026 Program, inviting Indonesia’s emerging designers and fashion entrepreneurs to join one of the nation’s most influential platforms for creative mentorship, fashion business development, and global industry exposure. With PINTU already integrated into the French creative ecosystem, the platform is now ready to nurture the next wave of innovators as they step confidently onto the international fashion stage.

PINTU is a fashion development platform born from a long-standing Indonesia–France cultural collaboration established in 2022 by LAKON Indonesia, JF3 Fashion Festival, Institut Français d’Indonésie (IFI), and the French Embassy. Built as a creative ecosystem, PINTU exists not only to nurture design excellence but also to strengthen business capability, sustainability values, and cultural diplomacy. Through structured curation, mentoring, masterclasses, and national-to-international showcase opportunities, PINTU empowers young Indonesian designers and fashion brands to grow sustainably while staying rooted in the richness of Indonesian heritage. With programs ranging from Focus Week and Residency to international fashion week participation, PINTU opens pathways for global exchange, knowledge transfer, and long-term creative advancement.

As one of the country’s leading platforms for Indonesian fashion business development, PINTU officially opens the registration for its 2026 cohort, inviting emerging designers and young fashion labels to join a transformative journey—one that blends creativity, entrepreneurship, and global exposure. With a strong track record of guiding Indonesian brands to international stages like Première Classe Paris Trade Show, PINTU continues to champion the next generation of innovators ready to elevate their creative identity into globally competitive fashion businesses.

A World-Class Framework for Future-Ready Fashion Creators

The 2026 program offers a deeply immersive structure designed to equip designers with both creative refinement and real-world business intelligence. Through Mentoring Class, participants receive tailored one-on-one sessions and curated masterclasses from Indonesian and French industry leaders—covering merchandising, branding, sustainability, communication, business modeling, and product development. This personalized approach allows each designer to address their brand’s unique challenges while strengthening long-term strategic thinking.

Meanwhile, Focus Week provides an intensive period of workshops and deep-dive discussions with fashion experts from Paris, encouraging participants to push boundaries in materiality, storytelling, and craftsmanship. Complementing this is the PINTU Seminar, a platform that explores current fashion shifts, the role of traditional crafts, and the urgency of sustainable practices through panel talks, roundtable discussions, and collaborative learning formats.

On the experiential side, the program also grants real-industry immersion through the JF3 Fashion Festival runway showcase and the Lakon Store Corner, where participants gain hands-on retail experience for six months-understanding consumer behavior, product-market fit, merchandising, and brand presentation. Beyond that, participants engage in national and international exhibitions, expanding their network and introducing their work to buyers, curators, journalists, and global fashion communities.

Rather than simply teaching “how to design,” PINTU shapes future-ready brands—those who understand craft, culture, and commerce in equal measure.

Who We Are Looking For

The PINTU 2026 Open Call invites:

  • Young designers or emerging brands aged 18–35 years old
  • Fashion graduates who are ready to transition from creativity to entrepreneurship
  • Individuals with internship experience at a fashion house or brand
  • Creators with big ideas, strong concepts, and/or strong execution skills

  • Able to communicate in English

Applicants will be required to submit foundational documents such as brand profiles, concept proposals, business projections, previous collection samples, and sketches for their next upcoming collection—allowing the selection committee to assess potential and direction.

A Continued Commitment to Elevating Indonesia’s Fashion Ecosystem

PINTU’s purpose remains clear: to nurture competitive Indonesian fashion brands while amplifying Indonesia’s creative identity at the global stage. With expanded collaborations and deeper cross-cultural exchanges planned for 2026, the program stands as a powerful gateway for designers eager to grow, learn, and make their mark internationally.
