Lil Public

Established in 2019, Lil Public is an urban wear label that fuses street style with literacy culture. Recognized for its unique cuts and illustrative designs, the brand takes inspiration from public figures, books, and cultural history. Beyond fashion, Lil Public also fosters creativity through initiatives like the Commune Art Market launched in 2024, a platform uniting art, fashion, and book communities in Bandung.

Making its debut at JF3 Fashion Festival 2025, Lil Public presented the Hisashi Series, a collection inspired by novels that explore how food evokes memory and emotion. Monster-like illustrations reimagined iconic dishes—sushi, nabeyaki udon, Napolitan spaghetti, and Christmas cake—into wearable art, with each character capturing both flavor and feeling. Blending form, color, and sentiment, the series transforms food into a vivid narrative of family, love, and unspoken longing, affirming Lil Public’s place at the intersection of fashion and storytelling.
